2023 Conference Keynote Speakers

We are delighted to announce our keynote speakers, Dr Jennie Bristow and Professor Gary McCulloch, for this year’s conference in June (29th-30th) at the Institute of Education, University of Derby.

Jennie Bristow

Jennie Bristow is Senior Lecturer in Sociology at Canterbury Christ Church University, and Visiting Research Fellow at the Centre for Parenting Culture Studies at the University of Kent. Her keynote will be “Generational tensions in Higher Education”.

Gary McCulloch

Gary McCulloch is the inaugural Brian Simon professor of history of education at the IOE London, UCL’s Faculty of Education and Society. His keynote will be “The School Meals Service in a Changing Society: Aims, Achievements and Limitations”.
