Opportunity for Undergraduate Programme Leaders to Take Part in BESA Funded Research
Dr Mark Pulsford and Dr Becky Morris from Warwick’s Education Studies, along with Dr Ross Purves from the Institute of Education UCL, are running a project exploring the views and experiences of undergraduate programme/course leaders. The study begins with an online survey followed by individual interviews with a smaller sample of participants.
The project was awarded funding in BESA’s 2019/20 call for grant applications, and was commended on its special relevance to the aims of BESA. The award was announced during BESA’s annual conference in June 2019 and the outcomes of the project will be presented at the 2020 BESA Conference. We hope it will enable us to describe the current state of play for colleagues in these pivotal roles, explore the factors shaping their experiences, and offer recommendations based on the findings.
There are two survey links below, one for any undergraduate degree programme leaders in the UK, and the other specifically for those who lead programmes in the subject of Education (typically BA or BSc courses called ‘Education Studies’ or ‘Education’).
Please click on one of the links below to take part, and do share this web page or these links with colleagues and your wider networks as relevant. We very much appreciate your participation and support, thank you.
