Meet the BESA Executive Committee – Gurpinder Lalli, Raising Awareness
As the BESA executive committee has expanded this year, we are planning a series of posts within the news section of the web site to introduce all members of the team and what they are doing for the association. The first of these posts is from Dr. Gurpinder Lalli, who joined the committee this academic year as a co-opted member to raise awareness. Gurpinder has recently published the book Schools, Food and Social Learning, and further information regarding his publications and research interests can be found on his profile page.
I would like to introduce my role as co-elected member of the executive committee tasked with raising awareness for the British Education Studies Association (BESA). This could include anything to do with the core operations of BESA, such as:
- the Educationalfutures and Transformations journal publications;
- queries regarding membership and taking advantage of membership benefits;
- supporting awareness of future BESA conferences and wider involvement from the BESA education community; and
- general queries and/or proposals for networking to raise awareness of BESA.
Please get in touch using the contact info below in relation to any of the above and I would be more than happy to talk with you.
