Educational Alternatives: Challenges and Possibilities

The 16th BESA Annual International Conference will be held online from the 24th to the 25th of June of 2021. BESA (British Education Studies Association) is a subject association that supports the academic community of students, teachers and researchers in the diverse field of Education Studies. The association aims to promote and foster high quality research and excellence in teaching within higher education and the wider community.
Attendance to the conference is free for all BESA members.
Cost for non-members – £25
BESA annual membership – £50 – £15 for student/concessions
Attending the BESA conference provides a powerful learning and networking experience for researchers, lecturers, teachers and students involved in different forms of education. The conference will be held online (via Zoom) on 24th and 25th June 2021. The conference includes provocative keynote international speakers, a wide choice of presentations and the opportunity to engage in discussion and debate on contemporary issues in education.
The theme of this year’s conference is Educational alternatives: challenges and possibilities. This theme will be central to the presentations delivered by the Keynote speakers (TBC). The BESA Organising Committee welcomes papers from a wide variety of empirical and theoretical perspectives with a focus on educational matters.
