This year’s conference theme ‘A Tapestry of Voices: Weaving Inclusivity into Education and Conferences‘ has been created from a conversation that occurred at the TIESA conference in 2025. A few members of the executive committee started to discuss inclusivity within conferences. We questioned whether we could disrupt traditional ways to plan a conference that really considers thinking outside the box on how conferences could enhance inclusivity. This began the development of the 2026 TIESA annual research conference.

We are offering a variety of ways that you can disseminate your research including:

• Traditional conference presentations.
• Conference posters (with a presentation or without a presentation).
• Roundtable discussions which are more informal than traditional conference presentations.
• Other forms of dissemination, including creative ideas, physical activities and/or gallery exhibitions. If you have an alternative idea that you would like to discuss further before submitting your application please contact Zeta on the above email address.
