External examiner for Professional Doctorate in Education (EdD), Institute of Education, Faculty of Health and Wellbeing, University of Wolverhampton.

The University of Wolverhampton requires an external examiner for the Professional Doctorate in Education (EdD). The module consist of three 60 credit taught modules and one 180 credit Thesis module. All modules are at level 8.

The external examiner will be expected to monitor the quality of the work across all the modules of the programme through the Module Examination Board. The external examiner is required to attend at least one assessment board a year and complete an annual report. External examiners are also required to provide comments on proposed modifications and the development of new modules within their area of expertise.

We are seeking candidates whose areas of expertise would enable him or her to monitor the quality of the course and externally assess module assignment outcomes. The post is for an initial period of 4 years, starting in 2015-2016. The first Examination board of this academic year is November 2015.
