BESA Student Preconference 2013
We are pleased to announce the 2nd Student preconference held by the British Education Studies Association (BESA)on 31st of May at Wolverhampton University.
The preconference has been developed in preparation for the annual conference at Swansea Metropolitan University on the 27th-28th June 2013. It has been developed so that students from all levels of study and new researchers can attend workshops that will benefit their studies. For instance, there will be workshops held on positioning oneself as a researcher, writing for publication, preparing for a conference presentation and demystifying the viva.
There is also the opportunity for students/new researchers to present, whether it’s a summary of their research so far or presenting their developing presentation for the BESA annual conference. These presentations provide students/new researchers with the opportunity to present to their peers and gain valuable feedback for their studies.
The BESA preconference is a free event, lunch will be provided and the event will run from 9.30-4.30pm.
If you would like to reserve a place or present at the preconference please email for additional information.
